Hand-building with Jennifer Chance
This class will explore various methods of hand-building with clay, including slab, pinch and coil construction.  We will create vessels and small animal sculptures and have the opportunity to explore a multitude of surface decoration techniques.
One 6 Week Session
Mondays, 2:30 to 5:00PM

Hand-building with Maria Neal
maria nealBeginners or experienced potters will gain a solid foundation or stretch their abilities working with the hand-building process. Whether it is working with slabs to create mugs, bowls or boxes or learning coiling and pinching techniques to create vases and other forms, Maria’s creativity is sure to build upon your love of clay to create fun and fabulous pieces. Maria will tailor this class to the abilities of the students.

Throwing/Hand-building with Alison Dodd
Alison Dodd 2014-1Open to beginners and students with any level of clay experience. From basic throwing and hand-building skills, to creating advanced forms and applying surface designs, Alison works with students one on one to help them develop their clay skills.
Four 6 Weeks Sessions
A. Wednesdays 9AM-12:00PM January 10th to February 14th
B. Wednesdays 9AM-12:00PM March 7th to April 11th 

C.Thursdays 6:00PM – 9:00PM January 11th to February 15th

Throwing with Jeremiah Chace

Kiln Repair with Chuck & Fitz
Are you intimated with the idea of working on your kiln? Join Chuck and Fitz as they do some repair work on our electric kiln. They will explain to you what they are doing and lead you through the process. The top layer of bricks needs to be replaced, along with at least one element in the kiln which means they will also be taking off the lid of the kiln and the front electric panel. This should be a fun morning activity and will last as long as it takes~ stay until the job is finished or as long as you would like.
